We have several dozens of sites that backup to our private storage through SFTP. Since the last update from 2.25.4 to 2.25.4.0 the specific settings (server path, log-in credentials) have vanished and I am being asked do buy premium to use SFTP.

Several links in the plugin panel to troubleshoot the problem throw a 404 error. Reconnecting the site doesn’t help.

The only remedy is to “wipe settings” under the “advanced tools” tab, then deinstall the plugin. Then download 2.25.4 from their website and set up everything from scratch.

WARNING: You get a message to update to 2.25.4.0. Once you do that, everything breaks again.

Dear team UpdraftPlus, please fix it fast. And please fix it in a way, that we do not have to go through each website and reinstall the plugin nor adjust the settings.

    Hi,

Apologies for this, we are looking into this.
Would you be able to provide IP’s for some of the affected sites?

    Dear Vanessa

Please instruct on how to reconnect.

So far I proceeded like this:

    1: Delete all settings
    2. Uninstall plugin
    3. Reinstall from Website
    4. Enter all credentials

But… when I set the plugin to auto-update, I get the version that kills my settings again.

Question: Is there already a fixed version of Updraft available? Or is there another way I do not know yet?

    Hi,

Can you goto your Premium/extensions tab, enter your email and password and click “connect”
Under “all addons” can you click “activate it on this site”
