Same team, different name. Welcome to TeamUpdraft (for affiliates)

Today we’ve launched a new parent brand and website, TeamUpdraft.

UpdraftPlus, WP-Optimize and AIOS have moved to teamupdraft.com with Internal Link Juicer and WPGetAPI to follow at a later date.

Much of the WordPress community has heard of UpdraftPlus.

It’s one of the most frequently downloaded plugins in the WordPress ecosystem. It’s certainly the most popular backup and migration plugin, with more than 3 million active installs according to the WordPress plugin directory.

Many people have also heard of WP-Optimize and All-In-One Security (AIOS).

But fewer people know that they’re all from the same respected team that first launched UpdraftPlus back in 2011. We’d like to change that.

Pulling together three of our biggest WordPress plugins under the new TeamUpdraft parent brand will help to improve visibility of the plugin suite, transfer some of the brand equity from UpdraftPlus to smaller plugins, and make it easier for users to buy.

Design, content, messaging, user flow and checkout experience have been dramatically improved which should result in more visits converting to referrals, whilst delivering a vastly better experience for our shared users.

In addition, as an approved affiliate of one brand, you’re automatically approved to promote other plugins in the suite, whether UpdraftPlus, WP-Optimize or AIOS.

Previously, individual features of UpdraftPlus Premium could be bought separately as add-ons to the free plugin.

Examples included the Microsoft OneDrive add-on, the more files add-on and UpdraftMigrator.

We looked at the data, and overwhelmingly, users preferred to buy the bundled UpdraftPlus Premium product which includes every premium backup and migration feature.

In fact, only 10% were purchasing add-ons from the former updraftplus.com shop.

Users can continue to buy UpdraftCentral, UpdraftClone and UpdraftVault from teamupdraft.com.

This change doesn’t affect existing customers, who can continue renewing current add-on subscriptions.

We encourage you to update your content to reflect the changes. For example instead of talking about the ‘OneDrive add-on’ or ‘UpdraftMigrator’, talk about OneDrive and migration as features of UpdraftPlus Premium instead.

As an account holder, you should by now have received an email from us. If you haven’t, please check your junk folder or follow this guidance instead:

• If you previously used your email address to log in to only one of our previous websites (e.g., updraftplus.com), you can continue using your password.
• If you had accounts on multiple websites (e.g., updraftplus.com and/or getwpo.com and/or aiosplugin.com), you may need to reset your password.

🔒 Security Reminder: We’ll never ask for your account credentials. If you receive any suspicious messages, ignore them and contact us directly.

You should have also received an email about your new affiliate URL and ID. You can also see this by logging into your account (see above) and visiting your affiliate dashboard.

Your existing affiliate URL will automatically redirect to the new domain, with referral arguments passed along.

What this means for you:

• If you direct visitors to our old website(s) using your current affiliate URL, they will be seamlessly redirected to the new site.
• Your visits and referrals will continue to be tracked as usual.

This redirection will remain in place for two months after go-live, giving you time to update your affiliate tracking URL.
