UpdraftPlus 1.8.12 Release
UpdraftPlus 1.8.12 has been released, and should appear in your updates dashboard during the next few days.
This is mostly a collection of small tweaks for performance and usability (including one that should help produce backups of large sites on very underpowered hosting setups without needing to tweak any ‘Expert’ settings – especially for one.com users!), plus these new features:
Changelog
Section titled Changelog- Allow the ‘Exclude’ options (for omitting files/directories from the backup) to go to any level (i.e. can now exclude entities which are deep in the directory tree)
- Allow use of Amazon S3’s Reduced Redundancy Storage (Premium) (more info)
- Allow all messages to be centrally logged in syslog/Event Log (Premium) – useful for system administrators (more info)
- ‘More Files’ add-on (and hence Premium) now allows adding as many non-WP directories as you like
Also, the Russian, Dutch, German and Portuguese (Brazilian) translations have been updated. A recommended update for all.
