How do I add Dropbox to my UpdraftPlus account settings

Add your personal DropBox account to your UpdraftPlus settings as a remote storage location by following the below video.

In this guide we’ll show you how to connect your Dropbox account to UpdraftPlus and save your backups to it.

  • Log into your website.
  • Navigate UpdraftPlus >> Settings tab.
  • Click the Dropbox icon.
  • Click the Save Changes button.

Click the link to start the authentication process.

Select on the link in the 'Remote storage authentication' dialogue to authorize access to Dropbox

Log in to link your account UpdraftPlus.

Link Dropbox account to UpdraftPlus by logging in/signing up

Click Complete setup.

Select 'Complete setup' to setup Dropbox and get redirected back to UpdraftPlus settings

Click Backup Now on the UpdraftPlus >> Backup / Restore tab.

In 'Backup/Restore' tab select 'Backup now' button
  • Check the options for Send this backup to remote storage and Dropbox.
  • Click Backup Now.
In 'Perform a backup' dialogue box, select 'Dropbox' in the 'Select this backup to remote storage' option

Your backup is secured on Dropbox and is accessible from UpdraftPlus >> Backup / Restore >> Existing backups.
