Claims and wording

We want your content to reflect what you actually find while using the products. Describe the feature you demonstrate and its practical benefit, and check the current product page before mentioning a specific feature or plan.

  • Say “helps protect a WordPress site” rather than “makes a site completely secure.”
  • Describe your own performance results and testing conditions rather than promising a particular speed improvement for everyone.
  • Confirm whether a feature is available in Free or Premium before recommending a plan.
  • Use rankings such as “world’s #1” or “top rated” only if your campaign contact provides approved wording, supporting evidence and the date it was checked.

Disclosure and links

If you receive payment, free access or another benefit for a collaboration, make that relationship clear to your audience. Mark affiliate links clearly, too. Use the links or codes supplied for your particular campaign, and check that they work before publishing.

You’re welcome to use your own voice and give an honest account of your experience. If you need an asset, feature clarification or a campaign link, contact your TeamUpdraft partner contact.
